CFS19 The CFS19, named Victoria after the Swedish crown princess, was a large step forward for the team with the first 4 wheel driven car, each individual wheel powered by our custom-made electric motor and featuring a de-coupled heave-roll system in the front as well as in the back to increase adjustability of the vehicle behaviour. The Chalmers Formula Student Driverless project is a student-driven project at the Chalmers University of Technology that is continuously developing a previously built CFSD19 electric autonomous race car. The team consists of fourteen master students working on different fields like mechanics, electronics, software, business and management. Competitions are divided to the static and dynamic events to test the engineering solutions, quality of documentation and the actual capabilities of the car. Formula Student competitions are highly demanding and in order to be successful both the team and the car must be fine-tuned to the max.
